Install NOS Redux

Use the official Connector

Download the NOS Connector from novusopiate.com and launch the supported ClassicUO profile from there. The Connector supplies the shard profile and keeps the Novus-specific files on the supported release.

• Do not reuse an original NOS account name or password.
• Do not mix files from old Novus packages or unofficial mirrors into the supported profile.
• Keep an ordinary Ultima Online data installation available when the Connector asks for game data.
• Launch through the Connector after a client or shard update.

Create an account and enter Britain

Create a current Redux game account, open ClassicUO, and select NOS Redux. New characters begin in Britain. The First Bank of Britain is the easiest landmark for storing equipment, finding players, and learning the routes out of town.

If the client does not start

Run the Connector’s repair check before replacing files by hand. Record the Connector version, ClassicUO version, and exact error message. Account recovery and technical reports belong in private support; staff will never ask for your password.
